Suicide Resources

Suicide

If you are a student and concerned about your friend, it is very important to get a trusted adult involved immediately. If you are a parent concerned about your child, obtain professional help for your child, increase your supervision, and remove any lethal means from their ready access. Many people are hesitant to ask directly about suicide for fear that they will be planting the idea in the mind of the person. Asking them directly about thoughts of suicide provides them an opportunity to unburden themselves and to receive the support and services they need.

If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-SUICIDE (784-2433) or 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or text "MT" to 741741 (a free 24/7 text line for people in crisis) where trained crisis responders are available 24 hours a day. Do not leave a suicidal individual alone. If a suicide attempt has been made, immediately contact 911.

Substance Abuse & Mental Illness

Substance Abuse
"Many people who are addicted to drugs are also diagnosed with other mental disorders, including anxiety and depression. Some people develop mental health problems related to their compulsive drug use, and some people take drugs in an attempt to alleviate symptoms of mental health disorders. Whatever symptoms appear first, it is important to treat all mental illnesses at the same time." -National Institute on Drug Abuse

L’esprit agrees not to discriminate in the provision of services to an individual because the individual is unable to pay, because payment for those services would be made under Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP, or based upon the individual’s race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, or sexual orientation.

How do I pay for services?

L’esprit accepts Payment for Services from the following agencies:

Alternative Payment Options

L’esprit accepts Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, and private insurance. L’esprit offers a sliding fee for individuals who do not qualify for public assistance and cannot afford services. Our goal is to provide services to those who need it regardless of their ability to pay. We understand the hardships that result from excessive medical bills and we are here to work with you to ensure that you receive the care you need. A payment agreement can be arranged based on your household income and size of your household to alleviate the financial burden of services provided by L’esprit.

There is a sliding fee available based on family size and income.
